We Need You!THE MISSION
The River is a place that all students can come and feel loved and accepted and grow in their relationship with Christ. "They are like trees planted along the riverbank bearing fruit each season. Their lives never wither, and they prosper in all they do." (Psalm 1:3) With this verse as our fundamental verse, our mission is for our students to grow and mature in their faith to a point that their lives show the love of Christ in everything they do.
We accomplish this by creating spaces for students to come as they are: Small Groups, Mission Trips, Retreats, Summer Camps and Discipleship Groups. Students are given the freedom to struggle, hurt and ask questions about Christianity.
- Motivating students to develop a close friendship and love relationship with the Lord. (Matthew 22:37)
- Helping students grow a sense of responsibility for the development of self and others. (Galatians 6:1-2)
- Training students to be responsible for their own spiritual development. (Philippians 2:12)
- Molding students to have a personal hunger to see their peers come to know Christ. Challenging students to commit to pursuing the life God desires them to have. (1Corinthians 10:31)
THE VISION
TRSM wants to lead students in Citrus County to a real realization that they are lovable and made whole because of the Gospel.
TRSM wants all students from 6th grade to 12th grade to become active church members that have been supported and equipped to lead, to serve and to make disciples that make disciples.
This is accomplished by outreach, the Gospel encounter and discipleship.

VOLUNTEER
We are looking for parents and local high school graduates to help out with the students of TRSM.
We know life is busy and there is always a lot to do, but we would love for you to consider giving some of your time to the TRSM students. We need a "go to" list of people that can volunteer for various jobs and events throughout the year. This doesn't have to mean a full-time commitment! Just let us know what and how often you can help, and we will find a spot that works best for you. We need volunteers to pray, cook, lead small groups, chaperone trips, and so much more. We can't do this alone. Get all the details HERE.
JOIN THE "100 CLUB"
When you join the "100 Club", you will become part of an elite group of super cool, caring, and supportive, Christ followers that are committing to three things:
- Pray for the leaders, students and families of The River Student Ministries this year.
- Stay informed on prayer needs and student ministry news throughout the year. We will send you updates on what is happening in our ministry.
- Donate at least $100 over the course of the year to the student ministry. This money will be used for things like scholarships to summer camp, purchasing Bibles and devotional materials, transportation, outreach events and leadership training.
Our goal is to have at least 100 people or couples to join the "100 Club". If you would like to join us in reaching this goal, please fill out the 100 CLUB MEMBER FORM and drop it in the offering plate or at the church office. Thank you!
