Our Services

At First Baptist Church we offer two services that have different formats that you will find friendly and spirit lead. Both services have times for you to worship, listen and be drawn to God. The sermon is the same in both services brought by our Senior Pastor, Pastor Tim.

Contemporary Service - 8:30 am

This service is open to everyone and the music is led by our Praise Band. If you enjoy hand clapping and contemporary Christian music you will enjoy this service. We want you to be comfortable in worshipping our God. So visit this service and see if it meets your needs.

Traditional Service - 11:00 am

Our Traditional Service meets in the sanctuary on Sundays at 11:00 am. This service is open to everyone and the music is led by our Celebration Choir. Those that enjoy the traditional hymns and choruses will find this service  meets your needs.

Our Beliefs

We affirm the Holy Bible as the inspired word of God and the basis for our beliefs. This church subscribes to the doctrinal statement of "The Baptist Faith and Message" as adopted by the Southern Baptist Convention in 1963. We voluntarily band ourselves together as a body of baptized believers in Jesus Christ personally committed to sharing the good news of
salvation to lost mankind. The ordinances of the church are the believer's baptism and the Lord's Supper.

Our Affiliations

We are members of the Nature Coast Baptist Association (NCBA) which is an alliance of Southern Baptist congregations in Central Florida, joining together to support each other and do the work of the Lord. As a Southern Baptist church we are also a part of the Southern Baptist Convention, which encompasses more than 42,000 churches in the United States. We as Southern Baptists sponsor and support over 5,000 home missionaries as well as more than 5,000 foreign missionaries in 153 nations around the world.
